Microsoft has been promoting the feature of XP Mode in Windows 7 which claims to allow you to install and run XP legacy applications that are not compatible with Windows 7. But what they do not tell you is that your hardware needs to suport CPU supports chip-level virtualization (which can also be enabled in BIOS). Well how can you find out if your CPU is compatible?

One more thing, Windows 7 (Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise), so if you are running other version than these, you are out of luck.
